Kayla knew heading into law school, she wanted to practice Family Law. Being a very family-oriented person herself, she is passionate about helping people build families through adoption or assisted reproduction methods as well as helping them through a stressful separation or divorce.

She is a very empathetic and compassionate person. In her presence, you feel heard and respected. “I understand it can be difficult for clients to entrust someone with their separation or divorce. I want my clients to feel comfortable asking their questions and be reassured that together we will come up with a strategy tailored to their needs. I love seeing my clients leave my office with a sense of direction and relief.”

She is also goal-oriented and determined – she always gives 100% to her clients. Kayla takes a personalized approach to every case. No two clients are alike. “Getting to know my clients is just as important as knowing the law. I am constantly putting myself in their shoes to better understand the case at hand.”

Kayla doesn’t want her clients going through this process alone. She wants them to have the knowledge to make an informed decision. Whether it be negotiating a Separation Agreement or defending her client’s rights in a courtroom, she strives to act with integrity and honesty.
